Weald Hall Residents Enjoy a Day Out at Topgolf Chigwell

Residents from Weald Hall Care Home in Epping enjoyed a day of friendly competition at Topgolf Chigwell this week.
As part of Weald Hall’s ongoing programme of activities that help residents stay active and connected, the group spent the afternoon practising their swings, sharing plenty of laughs and rounding off the visit with a well-earned drink.
The trip was organised by Weald Hall’s Lifestyle Team as part of the home’s regular programme of social activities and outings.
“Outings like this are more than just a day out,” said Lifestyle Manager Danielle. “They give residents the chance to stay active, meet new people and enjoy time together in a different setting.”
Weald Hall Care Home offers a varied schedule of events planned to support residents’ wellbeing, from fitness and creative sessions to cultural visits and community involvement, with each activity aiming to encourage independence and more connection among residents.
With more people living longer, it’s never been more important to offer environments that support both care and enjoyment. That’s why Weald Hall residents are encouraged to stay active and social, with plenty of opportunities to make the most of each day.
The Topgolf trip was another example of how life at Weald Hall is full of variety, giving residents opportunities to enjoy the things they love regardless of age or ability.
