Residents and staff at Weald Hall celebrate the coronation with a royal party
The coronation was a great milestone in the history of our country and all of us at Weald Hall were excited to celebrate the happy occasion. It was a historic weekend and we wanted to be part of one of the biggest celebrations in this century!
The residents and staff at Weald Hall Care Home came together to celebrate King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation in style. We hosted a royal garden party at the home on 8th May, complete with barbecue, drinks and music. One thing about Weald Hall is that we know how to throw a good party!
Family and friends were invited to the home for the celebration and were asked to dress up in their best royal costumes.
Ahead of the party, the home was decorated with flags and buntings and tables were set for a royal feast. Everyone was dressed to impress – we saw some amazing costumes, from royal guards to the royal family!
A very talented singer was invited to entertain our guests with beautiful renditions of their favourite songs. Everyone enjoyed the lovely music with some bubbly and had an amazing time grooving to the tunes.
All our guests and residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they celebrated the coronation and the beginning of a new era in our country.
Danielle, our home manager, was delighted at the success of our coronation party. She said: “It was a great pleasure to host the party at our home. All our staff, residents and their families had a wonderful time – there were happy faces all around!”
Heartiest congratulations to Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla on their coronation!
