A Mother’s Day to Remember at Weald Hall

Weald Hall Care Home pulled out all the stops for Mother’s Day this year and our residents loved every minute of it.

Our dedicated team transformed the dining room for the occasion, with hanging ivy, pink bunting, balloons and star decorations that set the scene for a Mamma Mia-themed afternoon tea. The talented performer arrived in full costume to bring a little ABBA magic to the room, with residents and families settling in to enjoy a proper spread of sandwiches, cakes and sweet treats.

Families joined in throughout the afternoon, with tables full of residents, children and grandchildren enjoying the Mothering Sunday celebration together. There was also a trip out for some residents to make the most of the sunny weather, rounding off what was a really memorable day.
