Weald Hall Care Home Turns Pink to Support Breast Cancer Now
Residents, staff and members of the local community came together at Weald Hall on Monday 5th October for a special fundraising event supporting Breast Cancer Now.
With October marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the home turned pink, and everyone was encouraged to dress in the colour.
Live music had residents and visitors singing and dancing throughout the morning. It was especially lovely to welcome members of the local community, who came along to join in the fun and help raise money for a cause that touches so many lives.

The event has already raised £210 for Breast Cancer Now – and the total is still growing! Fundraising will continue throughout October through the home’s JustGiving page, giving anyone who couldn’t attend the chance to contribute.

Danielle Barham, Home Manager at Weald Hall Care Home, said:
“It was wonderful to see our residents, staff and local community come together to support such an important cause. We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity and delighted with the amount raised for Breast Cancer Now.”

Breast Cancer Now is a leading UK charity supporting people affected by breast cancer through its research and support services. The money raised by Weald Hall will contribute towards the charity’s work.
The team at Weald Hall would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated or helped make the morning such a success. It was enjoyable to see the home filled with familiar faces and new visitors, all coming together to support such an important cause.
